Getting Ready

Reminder for you:  I will be choosing a winner for my basket of goodies soon!  Winner will be posted on October 1, so if you haven't entered, be sure to leave a comment on this post.

I am so busy getting things done for Market and Festival.  I have only been to Festival once before, and I am so looking forward to being there this year.  I will be in booth #426--so PLEASE come see me!  Make your plans now to be in Houston on Oct. 29 - Nov 1.  Wouldn't that be a fun girls trip????

I need to start thinking of booth plans and get everything ready.  I feel like I am out of practice, and can't quite remember what needs to be done!

I have some new designs that I will be showing with patterns and kits, and fabric and all the good stuff.  We will have demos in the booth, so you can stop by and learn something, too.

I just hope I can get everything done!

I know you'll have lots of fun. One of these years, I'll have to plan my winter arrival to Tx a little early so I can attend. Look forward to hearing all about it!

I met you in Houston in 2012. Loved your booth and the chance to visit with you. Glad you are going back even though I do not get to go back. Have a great show. I hope I will the basket because I really need some of your red dots and do not know where to find them in Wisconsin.

I met you at a quilt show a few years back in Chicago. It's always so much fun to meet the creators of all the wonderful fabrics/notions. I discovered your Appli-glue and Polka-dots. Love, love these items. Nice to see that you are doing well health wise too!

You are ONE busy busy lady! I appreciate your time and effort and wonderful results..and that means I can make your pretty quilts too!!.....the last one I did I put many colors and prints that my Mom, who was an advid quilter the last 10 years of her life....and called it Abby for her (her nickname in quilting)....and then my son needed a transplant (kidney) last year....and also needed a fund to reach a goal of 60,000$ to start the process really rolling (thanks to new insurance laws).....anyways....that quilt was auctioned on Facebook for him...I have no idea who has it or how much it brought but someone, somewhere has it in their home!!....so Thanks......his older brother gave him his kidney...so we had 2 sons in surgery last November 14th......then as life has it, he has a tumor on his pituitary and had that removed in June....none of it covered due to cracks in the system...even for deserving transplant patients.....but, your pattern, your work was used and now loved by others....God Bless

I wish I could come to your booth! I just love your stuff. My favorite line of yours is the letters one from several years ago. (Letters to my daughter???) Your booth looks fabulous!

What a wonderful set up and so inviting too! Your use of colour throughout is lovely with my favourite quilt of your's on the back wall "Serenity". You sent me the pattern earlier in the year to my home in Adelaide so thank you for that. I hope you have a wonderful time at Market Festival. I truly wish I could come but I'm not permitted to fly due to medical issues. Best wishes. Julie Beard:lavender21714@gmail.com
