Market-ing

The winner of the thread from my last give-away is:

Your sewing space is beautiful--messy or not! I have a Bernina 440 and do love it, although I would like to have the new even feed. My favorite part would be the knee lift. Oh--and all the cool feet! Thanks for the chance to win some awesome Aurifil thread. I hope you can figure out your machine soon--it looks like a wonderful machine!
If this is you, please send me your address so I can get this package off to you!  Email me at jill@jillilystudio.com.

Thank you all so much for participating!  I loved reading all your comments.  I am working like crazy to get everything ready for Market.  I have to make a few new quilts featuring my new fabrics, and I need to get everything ready for my booth, and the Henry Glass booth.

I am almost done with one of the quilts.  It has been so fun working on it because I am adding some ric rac.  Now that's the way to make appliqué simple!!  I'll do a tutorial on that later, but suffice it to say that Appli-Glue is essential!

I started this quilt several months ago, and set it aside.  I am loving how it turned out!

For quilt shop owners:  I am starting a new program for shops to give discounts and deals so they can carry all of the Jillily products.  So if you are a  shop owner, please come by my booth and see all the details.  Also, I am doing a Schoolhouse session on Thursday, May15,  2:55 - 3:25  in Room 307 to introduce the Jillily Sweet Shop Program.

I have a bunch of ideas running around in my head, and I need to get them to settle down and come out!  For some reason, it is always like this.  And I am scrambling at the last minute to get everything done!

In the midst of my scrambling, I have been seeing lots of wonderful colors out there. Don't you just love color?  Even though it snowed last  night, the yard is looking beautiful, and I hope everything I planted didn't freeze!

I hope you are seeing all the spring beauty around you.  I can't wait for summer.  The long days and warm nights.
It is less stressful for me because Market is over, and the next one is far away.
And I get time to work in my garden, which, by then will be full of weeds, and need some work!
Ok, let's keep positive here!

Have a wonderful day, and keep posted so I can tell you all about Market.

I just read on Karen's blog that her mother had passed away. See moosebaymuses.blogspot.com. It may be a while before she can get in touch with you.

The fabric line is gorgeous, and the quilt is stunning. Mom's Passion, Garden Memories--a couple of ideas.
