Seeing Red

Well, I have been checking things off the list of "Post Market To-Dos."  I am gradually getting caught up.  That means I can start sewing and creating again.  The worst part about having your own business is having to "run" your own business.    I would prefer to just do the creative part, but that would probably not work.  So I do have to do those things that I don't love.  But don't we all?

I am anxious to get sewing again.  I don't have any pressing deadlines--well, not of anything to sew--but I would like to start a few new projects.  I have been sketching a bunch of new ideas, and I can't wait to get them into fabric.

I have been collecting fabrics.  Well, I am always collecting fabrics, but this time I have a certain color scheme in mind.  I am not sure what I want to do with these, but aren't they awesome???!!

I am loving the reds and grays.  And a bit of that creamy white.  I don't know what I'll make, but I keep seeing these colors everywhere.

Well, of course, if you know me, you know it is easy to find red in my studio!  These colors just call to me.   For example, the other day I went to buy some shoes. (Now that it is winter, sandals can be a bit cold.)  I planned to get some basic, everyday sort of shoes.

Then I saw the red ones.

Red is an everyday sort of shoe color, right?

Works for me.
