On the Design Wall Now. . .

Well, it's September.  And I had planned to do a lot of designing and sewing in August.  So when I realized what day it was, I decided to get going!  I have been working on this for a few days:

Piles and piles of little pieces later, I can put a few blocks up on the design wall:

But what will go in the center???  Well, it's a Secret.    A Secret Garden, that is.

Still a lot of work to do on this one, but it is coming along.

Wow, when I do all this detail work on the applique, I sure am grateful for Appli-Glue!

I think I just have too many R.L.I.s,  (regular life interruptions) don't you?  Maybe I can finish this up tomorrow.  One can hope.

Wow, Jill - the border strip is terrific, but that center? Oh, WOW!! So beautiful - love the gate, and of course your signature swirly vines and flowers, another sure winner!
