I thought I would show you a little sneak peek of one of the projects.
I designed this one on my way back from Michigan a few weeks ago. My sister Margaret has been helping me out, and she is putting this one together for me. I gave her all the fabrics and instructions, and . . . .Voila! A quilt is born.
This is just the center, there is more coming, but isn't it cute so far?!
Another challenge for me in book writing, (or in pattern writing for that matter) is finding a name for all these quilts. Maybe I will have to get some help from my fabulously creative readers. Hummmm.
Any ideas?

Hugs from Brasil!
very interesting center, can't wait to see the whole top.
If you ever need a pattern tester give me a shout!
I love the contrast between dark and lights and old world applique and modern black and whites.
love how the block can be pieced and appliqued and then arranged in so many different ways.- cw
This is gorgeous!I envy you guys who can do this lol.Im just a wanttobe so far.Hopefully someday soon I will make a doll quilt.
Posies Square Dance. You can call the flowers whatever you want, the square is what sticks out to me. I have trouble with naming my own quilts. Especially before they are made. after the designing and stitching is done it's much easier.
I love the colour and the contrast. The mix of applique and piecing too. For some reason, I thought "Cherries Julilee".
What ever you call it, it is a winner.
Delightful pattern and with all the bold black triangle shapes it reminds me of a pergola with flowerboxes inside and flower beds surrounding it. Makes me want to spread it out in the sun and lay on it reading a book :).
Cheers,
Robyn
I LOVE this one! So cute! I would make it for sure.

I love this design!!
The colors are beautiful and the shapes are fantastic!! Can't wait for the pattern to be ready!
This is great! I love the contrast of the strong black and white with the gentle beauty of the flowers.
It almost seems like a happy, playful garden growing up around a formal walkway. (sorry, no help with the name :( )
I love the way you put colors together with something striking to set it off. I keep thinking "Baskets in the Corner" when I look at it.
I love the contrasts between value and the design elements. When I first saw it I thought: "Soft and Hard". Weird, huh?
"Ring around the Posies"
Love the quilt. Can't wait for your new book to come out.
nobody does applique better..another winning quilt in my eyes..
Love it. not good at naming quilts either.
Beautiful quilt. The flowers remind me of lollipops from the Willy wonka movie. Lollipop Garden? Lollipop Picnic?
flower court? gorgeous quilt with or without a name.
Have only seen your quilts and patterns on line. Is there a place to order the patriotic quilt you featured on 9/11? Very lovely, meaningful quilt.
Thanks for info..
What a gorgeous start.... and there's MORE?? I think you should name it "Voila".
Your new quilt is fantastic - how 'bout "Summertime". Yep, will need that pattern!
Yes, adorable. I would say - Sew Dot Cute......I love naming......- or Dots in the Garden. Yes, if you ever need a tester, I would love that job!..
