Donuts or Fritters?

What a fun day. Today my cousin Rosie and her neighbor Patsy came over and we worked on some applique. We happily frittered away the afternoon playing with our fabrics.


Frittered away? Fritters. That sounds good. Too bad we didn't have any of those. Does anyone make fritters anymore?

Look at those pretty blocks. Don't they look great! Pretty good for never trying this before! See, applique can be easy.

After they left my wonderful husband Randy (he told me to say that) and my son JoJo went to the store. I made dinner and when they got home, they had dessert with them. Donuts.
