Chocolate Milk Mop

I am happy to inform you that a whole gallon of chocolate milk can be mopped up with only two bath towels!  This is very useful information, and I am happy to pass it along to  you.  Of course, it is easier if you have the extra large bath sheets, but I didn't-- and it worked just fine.

Moving along, I want to show you my newest quilt project.  I was working on some sketches for another fabric line and decided to make one of the motifs into a quilt block.  I had some newly purchased fabrics, which are fresh and springy, so I immediately thought of citrus. The greens paired with lemon yellow, tangerine, grapefruit pink and oranges fit the part just right. I think I will alternate the appliqued blocks with pieces ones, but I am not that far yet.  Be watching for "Citrus Salad" coming out this spring.

Speaking of spring---we had the craziest blizzard today.  It started out as a beautiful warmish day.  I went into the grocery store (I needed more chocolate milk) and the weather was fine. When I came out I couldn't see because of the blinding snow storm.  My car which is normally red was hard to find because it was completely covered in fresh sticky, snowy, icy white stuff. Springtime in the Rockies!

Are you starting any new spring projects?  Have a great week!

I don't have any spring projects, but tihs picture certainly inspires me to start one up!

You are seriously so talented! I'm sure you've been told before, and I hope I've mentioned it once or twice, but it's just amazing the things you create!!

P.s. Are we having a store at quilt retreat this year?

Love it! It makes me want to work on my (neglected) applique skills. I need some of your revolutionary applique glue. Have some at quilt retreat!

I too have been longing for appli-glue this week. I'm making due til I see you in April.

Thanks for the chocolate milk tip. I won't even think about paper towels next time...just head straight for the bathroom.

Can't wait to see your newest stuff at trunk show...
