What's going on?

Good Morning! I thought I would update you about whats been happening. Last Saturday I went to a shop in Sandy, Utah to introduce my new product, Appli-Glue. I had a great time at Quilt Etc. and met so many wonderful quilters. I was able to show my favorite method for applique and just chat about all things quilting. The glue was a hit! I have had so much postive feedback. I hope you have some and are using it! By the way, check out the review of Appli-Glue done by Mark's Posse in Quilter's Home magazine, the March issue. It is very complimentary, and I am grateful for that. I expect to be getting hugh orders based on the great publicity.

On Tuesday, Feb 10 I will be at Corn Wagon Quilt Co. in Springville, Utah speaking at a local guild there. Then on Wednesday, Feb 11 I will be in Highland, Utah at the new shop, Just Sew. I will be doing a lunch hour demo there.

I have been working on the final drafts of my new pattern for my fabric line with Henry Glass & Co. It is the free pattern which comes with the fabric to the shops. I am excited about how it turned out. I can't wait to actually make the quilt. For now it is just computer-generated and it looks great, but they always look better with real fabric and real quilting! The name of my line is "Meet Me In The Meadow." As soon as I can, I will show you some previews of the fabric and let you know when it will be available.

Also this week I am reviewing the final draft of the instructions for a quilt I made for American Patchwork and Quilting. It will be in the 2010 Calendar, it is the April quilt. I had forgotten how cute it was. Next fall it will be available, and you can pre-order the calendar later this year. I have this year's calendar and it is great. They do such wonderful work with the photography and the instructions. I also have a project coming out in the June issue of the magazine, which actually comes out in April. I am looking forward to seeing it, because I can't remember what it looks like!

I won't be able to post any photos today, because I am in New Mexico visiting my daughter, and the grandkids. If I was smart enough, I could take a picture with my phone of these cute kids and post it, but I am not. So you will have to wait until I am at home on my own computer.

Well it looks like I have a busy week ahead. I hope you do too. Busy is good.
