BLOG TOUR- WEEK 1

Everything is coming up roses--at least here at Jillily Studio!    Today is the start of my Blog Tour to show off my new fabric collection,

       COMING UP ROSES

from Penny Rose Fabrics.  I have a bunch of wonderful bloggers who were kind enough to make something using my fabrics to share with you.  Every Thursday for the next 6 weeks we will all be treated to some fun quilty inspiration!

I sure appreciate these bloggers for lending their time and talents to this little tour.  We are going to have a great time, so come along with us!

I have been waiting for this fabric to arrive  F  O  R  E  V  E  R!   Finally it came, and it is now sitting beautifully on my shelf in the studio.  I love to get new fabric, and for some reason,  I spend hours arranging it and displaying it--just to mess it all up when we start cutting kits, etc!  I just love the way it looks on the shelf!

I need to get more shelves in here.  The studio is bursting with bolts of fabric!  I can't wait to show you some of the new designs I have made using this collection.

Here are three projects that I made with my sample fabric several months ago.  From the left, they are:  Through The Looking Glass,  Every Blooming Thing,  and Tiny House Craze.  (These patterns and kits are available on my website--www.jillilystudio.com)

Now that I have more fabric in stock,  I am dreaming up even more fun designs.  There just isn't enough time in the day!  (Do you have that problem, too?)

Pre-cuts of these fabrics are also available--I think we will have 10" stackers,  5" stackers, fat quarter bundles, and rolie polies.  I have a few of these in stock and more are coming.

Here is a list of the bloggers on the tour.  (I will remind you each week, so you don't need to remember this.)

Hello Jill,

From wintry Adelaide down under! Just wanted to say I love getting your blog at the moment as it is filled with so much joy and stunning creative projects using your fabric range. But somehow I don't think I will find your range in my local quilt shop!Oh so sad!!!!

I'm love with reds and white fabric at the moment and I'm making a stash already all but small one of 11 half meters of fabrics. I must declare that I was not a red and white fan a while back. I'm mainly a blue coloured fan as is most of my fabric in my stash.

I wanted to tell you, your range is so deightful that I would love to get my hands on some of it here in Adelaide! Unfortunately, as my budget is tight this week. I will have to wait until I can share some aussie dollars your way soon. I do have heart envy for your projects Jill. They are so darn pretty! I may have to get busy to clean off my crafting table and find some excuse to make a project or two in your fabrics when I get some!!!!

Until next time Jill thank you for your happy blog emails.Julie Beard

What beautiful fabric! My daughter's middle name is rose. I would love to make her a quilt with this fabric line.

What a vibrant line! It has summer written all over it, but in the middle of winter I'm sure those same colors will feel like great company and a welcome reprieve from our Pacific Northwestern gray skies. A fabric line for all seasons. :)
