Guess what was in my mailbox? The editor of Quilter's Home magazine has done a review of my book! (page 68) It is very positive! She recommends that you buy it! I only have one disclaimer, just so you know, the book doesn't actually mention wine at all. So if you joined our retreat and were looking for wine, you would probably be disappointed.
Now here's a quick peek at what I am doing with the strike-offs I have of Elizabeth's Letters. This little project is really turning out nice. Next year you will see it in another magazine, but more about that later.
These are shots of it in progress, up on my design wall. Actual fabric will not be available until next January, but it will be in your local quilt shops then, and I hope it will be worth the wait.
The working name of this quilt is Blackberry Village. I don't know if the name will stick or not, but I will let you know when it is out and the kits are available.
Gotta go sew.
Have a great day!
Jill

I like what you did with "strike-offs". I'll be looking at the Henry Glass booth when I go to Trends in October and make sure we get some of it ordered. Last March I met a cousin there from Bountiful. It was so fun.
fantastic! I love your work. Love your book. Market is coming up quick. I know you'll do well.
