The Glowing Quilt

I told you before that I would let you know when my newest pattern is available, but I forgot! (Not that it is available, but that I would let you know.) Remember the quilt I did for Spring Market, called Cabin Fever?

It was supposed to be ready to ship in late June, but I finally got it ready in July! (Sometimes I run a little behind.) This is a bad photo, but a really fun quilt, and it is quick, too. The quilting on this one is beautiful. Virginia Gore quilted it for me and she always does a wonderful job.

Like I said, I need to take a new photo of the quilt, but it is gone to a trunk show in New Hampshire, (New HAMPshire?? ala What About Bob) so I will have to wait until it comes home.
I don't think the quilting will show up quite so well, because I washed it before it went off to the East. At one of our summer family gatherings, we were enjoying some Glo-sticks, and in the dark I noticed that my quilt was glowing. Now I really did like this quilt, but I didn't think that it was so great that it literally GLOWED.

Needless to say, it had to be washed. I love the look of a washed quilt, but it does change it a little, and the quilting design is not as noticable. So enjoy the view here, and remember this story when you see the new photo!
