Blog Hop Party Starts Today!

Welcome everyone to my blog!  If you are new here, I'm glad you stopped by.  Take your time and look around, I hope you will be inspired.  I decided to join the Blog Hop Party so I could give away a prize!

The Party is sponsored by Quilting Gallery, and you can go there to get a list of all the other blogs participating.  That way you will have lots of chances to win, and lots of quilty inspiration!

Humm.  What would be a good prize?  How about a copy of my book?  And of course, I would have to throw in a bit of fabric, don't you think?

Here are a few fat quarters from my Poppy Patio collection. (from Henry Glass Fabrics)  I know you will think of something to do with them!  I recently visited a shop and they had the whole line with a nice display.  Here it is at K & H Quilt Shop in Kaysville, UT.  What a cute shop that is!!  Stop by if you are in the neighborhood.  I gave them a few quilts to display in the shop so you can go see more samples of Poppy Patio if you live nearby.

Back to the prize--my book, Home Sweet Quilt (published by Martingale) is full of wonderful projects to dress up your home.  In fact, I have the cover quilt on the back of my sofa right now.
(The picture is a little dark, because it is snowing like crazy right now, and I can hardly see my       neighbors homes.   I love snow -- I can stay inside and get creative!  And it is so pretty.)

So I think I will work on something for Christmas today.  I want to make a few new pillows, and that could be quick and fun.  Soon I will need to change the fall decor to Christmas.   I like to wait until Thanksgiving is over, first!

I have been busy cutting kits to fill orders.  Seems like lots of people have the same idea as me.  If you are waiting for your Holiday Lane Pillow kit, it is going out today!

The pattern is free, and can be downloaded on my website here.  (it's under the FUN STUFF tab)  The kit is also available on my site, and it is 20% off this month.  So are some other Christmas patterns.

Oh, I forgot to tell you how to win the prize!  It's not hard, just become a "follower" of my blog, and leave a comment here. You have until the 26th.   Tell me what you would do with the prize--the book or the fabrics.

I love to hear from you, and as always, send me any photos of Jillily projects you have made!  Do check back often to see all the fun going on here and the specials at Jillily Studio.

  152. I love the fabrics you are offering for this Blog Hop. I have no idea what I'd do with the gorgeous fabric and/or the book, but I know I'd enjoy and love reading and sewing with them. Thanks for the opportunity. Have a fabulous fabric filled Thanksgiving and Christmas season.
