Accident

Hello everyone out there in Quiltland! I am so grateful to be able to write today. On our way home from the Road to California show, my sister and I were in a roll over accident. We hit some slush on the road as we were changing lanes. It is not good to hit a concrete barrier straight on, but we have been blessed! There is someone who looks out for us. Margaret is doing well now, after some repair surgery and we will both fully recover.

I am only posting this to let you know that if you had placed an order with me, or I was going to contact you about something, you may have to let me know again, as all of our orders and inventory were lost, or mangled.

At the show, hundreds of quilters signed up to be emailed when my book comes out, but I have not found that list yet. So just keep checking here, and I will let you know when it is available! Some folks are waiting for kits, and I will get those out as soon as possible. I think I will be just a couple weeks behind.

By the way, it was such a fun show! We had a wonderful time meeting all of you and I just wanted to say "Hello" to all my new quilting friends and welcome you to my blog and website. You were so sweet with all your comments and interest in my designs. I look forward to seeing you at shows and seeing all the great things you are working on. Remember, if you sign up as a follower of this blog, you are automatically entered in my drawings for free merchandise!

One more thing...I would like to publicly thank my sister Margaret for all her help! She is always so supportive of me and my business, and an invaluable asset when I go to shows because she knows everything about quilting and setting up a booth, etc, etc. She has unselfishly given freely of her time for years in all my endeavors, and I will be eternally grateful to her. Thanks again Marg! You are a "quilting marvel" for sure!

You must both have been wearing your seatbelts to have escaped any more serious injuries.
Please know that many thoughts and prayers are being sent to you for a speedy and complete recovery!

  13. I am so glad that you and your sister are ok.
I was wondering if you are going to redo the Values quilt pattern, seeming as how they have added a new one and changed the look of the torch?

  14. Hi Jill,
I am so glad to hear that you and Margaret are getting along better. I sent you and Margaret an email but didn't hear anything in return. I didn't want to be a pest but I was worried about you both. I hope to see you soon and I am back at Thimbles!! Love and Hugs, Ann xoxo
